Character Animation 2D - August 2021

This is all the character animation I was tasked to produce for a Motion Design elective in my third year of studies. The lip sync is an exercise to see if I could sync up the given character with a voice clip provided by the lecturer. For the walk cycle, I wanted to go against the norm of the traditional zombie walk, so I gave it a sneaking animation, and it is loopable (as was the task for this assignment). The weight lift assignment is just a traditional weight lift, nothing special. The character lifts the box, realizes it's too heavy, struggles for a bit and then quickly places it down without damaging the contents.
For the first class exercise, we were simply tasked with creating an idle animation of a person enjoying their music. The second class exercise is a weight test to see if the students understood the principle of character weight. So it's a little ball person trying to do some pull-ups.
Everything was animated in Adobe's After Effects, and all artwork and rigs were provided by the Open Window Institute. The audio clip used for the Lip Sync was taken from the Show Breaking Bad (2008).
